Common questions

Is Trackm really free to try?
Yes — 30 days, no credit card required. All features are fully available during the trial. After 30 days you can pay $35 once to keep adding transactions, or continue viewing your existing data for free.
Does Trackm have automatic bank sync?
No. You enter transactions manually. For most people this takes 30–60 seconds a day and keeps you more aware of your spending. If automatic import is a hard requirement, YNAB is the better fit.
How is Trackm's privacy different from YNAB?
YNAB uses Plaid to connect to your bank, meaning a third party has access to your transaction data. Trackm uses zero-knowledge encryption — your data is encrypted with a key derived from your password, and Trackm's operators cannot read it under any circumstances.
What happens if Trackm shuts down?
You receive at least 90 days notice and a full refund if you paid within 30 days of the announcement. Your data remains readable throughout — you are never locked out.
Can I switch my data from YNAB to Trackm?
YNAB allows you to export your transactions as CSV. You can use that export as a reference to set up your pockets in Trackm. There is no automated import from YNAB at this time.
